Management

The Crossroads Caring for Carers charity is managed by a board of volunteer trustees who give their valuable time and energy to ensure that the organisation is well managed and continues to meet its statutory obligations.

Many of our trustees are, or have been carers and users of home care services and bring with them a wealth of knowledge on carers' issues and many other skills from their working lives.

The organisation is managed by a Chief Officer who has worked in social care for over 40 years. Each team of care support workers has an experienced Team Leader whose responsibility is to deliver quality home care services to our carers, those they care for and to people with care needs who live alone. They are supported by senior managers and administrative staff to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the home care services.

The care support workers (our front-line staff) is what Crossroads is all about - well trained, dedicated and carefully recruited the care support workers are Crossroads biggest asset. They provide efficient, caring and supportive services to all users, whether they have care needs or are family based carers themselves. Our objective is always to provide a professional, friendly service to aid independence and improve the quality of life to all those who require care and support in their own homes.

HOW CROSSROADS CAN HELP FAMILY BASED CARERS

Do you want time to go shopping without having to rush, meet a friend for coffee or a glass of wine, play a round of golf or go for a swim, maybe go to that evening class you've always wanted to attend?
